A rainy morning which turned into beautiful sunshine just in time for the ceremony!
Whilst driving to the venue just after midday, a short 40 minute drive took nearly an hour due to the rain! With the ceremony due to start at 12.30pm, there was no way it was going to be outside in the rain. Upon arrival, the rain was beginning to clear, and on meeting Sam (groom), the decision to push back the ceremony was a perfect choice, as around 1.30pm, the sun came out!
Whilst the ceremony was on (in the background of the above photo!) frontman Joe set up for a solo acoustic set! As the set went on, it got sunnier and hotter! By 3pm, you would have not known the weather was bad just hours before!
The rest of the band arrived at 6pm and we got set up, in an awesome barn room adjacent to the marquee!

After the first dance of She’s The One by Robbie Williams, the band jumped right into it with I Will Wait by Mumford & Sons. Then we performed 2 hour sets, with a little amazing pizza break! The highlight of the night was for sure the groom’s 2 sisters & brother, with an amazing diss track done to the theme of Ruby – Kaiser Chiefs! The band were called “Up The Duff”, because Rebecca (bride) was pregnant!
Bassist James even jammed with them!
We had such a great day and night! Thank you so much for having us! Double congratulations once again to Sam & Rebecca, both for the wedding & the baby on route!
